Cancellation, Refund and Late Policy

At Effective Fitness, our goal is to provide a quality experience to all of our clients. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our employees, but our other clients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding cancellations and missed sessions.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book an appointment or session, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. In order to be respectful of your fellow members, please call, text, or email Effective Fitness as soon as you know you will not be able to attend your session. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance. Sessions are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another client access to that session time.

Cancelling Your Session

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please call, text, or email Effective Fitness between the hours of 8am to 4pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Rescheduling

We understand life happens, if it is necessary to reschedule your session, please contact us at least 48 hours before the start time of your scheduled session. We will do our very best to reschedule your session for another time that is convenient to you. If the request to reschedule is made before the 48-hour mark, the client will be given a full refund, or a rescheduled session. If the request to reschedule is made within 48 hours of the session start time, then the cancellation fee timeline applies. Exemptions to the policy will be considered on a case by case basis.

Refunds

If a client cancels a session with more than 48 hours notice, then the client will be issued the full price of the session.

Late Cancellations

A cancellation is considered late when the session is cancelled less than 48 hours before the appointment time. In the case of a cancelled session between 48 and 24 hours before the session start time, you will be refunded 50% of the cost of the session. If the cancellation is within 24 hours of the session start time will be charged the full value of the session.

No-Shows

A no-show is when a client misses a session without cancelling, or any prior contact. In the event of a no-show, the client will be charged the full value, plus a 20% booking fee.

Late Arrivals

A client is considered late if they arrive more than 10 minutes after their scheduled session start time. If a client is late, their scheduled session will be reduced by the time they were late to accommodate the next client’s scheduled appointment.
